1.3.5. Replacement of lighting lamps

1.3.5.1. Headlights
GENERAL INFORMATION
Prevention

Halogen lamps have inside an elevated pressure of gas and demand the special address. They can become torn or break, if are scratched or will fall. Hold a lamp only for its plastic or metal case. Do not touch a glass part of a lamp barehanded.

At replacement of a lamp be convinced that switches of ignition and light are switched off. Use lamps with rated power in the watts, given in the table.

Replacement of headlights

 Open a cowl. Disconnect a connector. Remove a rubber cover.

If connector hard, пошатайте it.

Release fixing spring of a lamp and remove a lamp. Establish a new lamp and fix fixing spring of a lamp.

For installation of a lamp combine lamp ears with a cut in an assembly opening.


Establish a rubber cover of well-aimed "TOP" in the direction up and press a ledge. Insert a connector.

Be convinced that the rubber cover densely adjoins to a connector and the headlight case.

Aiming is an unnecessary lamp after replacement. If aiming performance is required, contact the dealer of Toyota.
