4.7. The sensor of temperature of cooling liquid

 Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid does not work, check its safety lock.
2. If the indicator of the sensor shows that the engine hot when you only got the cold engine, disconnect a wire from the sensor (it is specified by an arrow). If indications of the indicator decrease, replace the sensor. If indications remain former, means, indicator conducting is punched, or the indicator is faulty. In drawing at the left – the 4-cylinder engine, on the right – 6-cylinder.
3. If the indicator does not show anything after the engine got warm and safety locks of the indicator are whole, muffle the engine, disconnect a wire from the sensor and by means of a crossing point connect a wire to engine grounding. Without getting the engine, for an instant, include ignition. If the indicator shows that the engine is warmed up, replace the sensor.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge cooling liquid.
2. Disconnect a wire from the sensor.
3. Unscrew the faulty sensor and twist the new. Connect a wire and check operation of the sensor.
