GENERAL INFORMATION

The scheme of gear shifting is standard, as shown above.

Press a coupling pedal completely down during switching, and then slowly it release. Do not hold a foot on a pedal during driving is can result in malfunction of coupling. Also do not use coupling for car deduction at a stop on lifting – use for this purpose the parking brake.

Too fast switching on raising or lowering transfer will lead to an overload of the engine and a possible detonation. Continuous increase of turns of the engine till the maximum speed on each transfer will cause excessive wear of the engine and big fuel consumption.

The most admissible speeds

For entrance on a freeway or overtaking of slowly driving transport the maximum acceleration can be demanded. Surely observe the next most admissible speeds for each transfer:

Transfer
Speed, km/h
1
57
2
91
3
141
4
182

If it is difficult to include a backing, establish transmission in neutral situation, release coupling, and then try again.

At trailer towage for preservation of efficiency of braking by the engine do not include the fifth transfer.
