1.1.13.1. Tension devices of forward seat belts

GENERAL INFORMATION

Be convinced, that the seat belt was fastened properly.

Tension devices of forward seat belts of the driver and ahead of the sitting passenger are intended for actuating in reply to strong forward collision.

If the sensor of a pneumopillow detects blow from strong forward collision, forward seat belts are quickly involved back by a natyazhitel so that belts will strongly hold the people sitting on forward seats.

Tension devices of seat belts work even if on a forward seat there are no passengers.

This indicator is highlighted when the ignition key is in the situation "ON" or "ACC". It will go out approximately in 6 seconds. It means that tension devices of forward seat belts work normally.

This system of warning light signals supervises sensors of forward pneumopillows, knots of tension devices of the seat belts, warning light indicators, system of internal electroconducting and power supplies.

Main components of system of tension devices of seat belts

1–Sensor of forward satellites;
2–A warning light signal of SRS;
3–Device of retraction of seat belts;
4–Device of sensors of pneumopillows.

The tension device of seat belts copes via the sensor of pneumopillows. The knot of the sensor of a pneumopillow consists of the sensor of safety and the pneumopillow sensor.

If the device of retraction of seat belts is put in action, functional noise can be audible and a small amount of the gas similar to a smoke is let out. This smoke is harmless and does not mean that there was a fire.

If worked the device of retraction of seat belts, the natyazhitel of a belt will remain locked.

Prevention

Do not modify, do not remove, do not strike and do not open the device of retraction of seat belts, the sensor of a pneumopillow or electroconducting. It can lead to unexpected operation of devices of retraction of seat belts or system removal out of operation and will lead to a serious trauma.
