The pneumopillow of the passenger is put in action, even if on a forward seat there is no passenger. Be convinced, that the seat belt was fastened properly.
This system of warning light signals supervises sensors of a forward pneumosafety cushion of SRS, the device of sensors of a pneumosafety cushion, the delivery devices, warning light signal, system of connecting wires and power supplies.
The pneumosafety cushion of SRS is designed so that it will not be inflated, if the car is subject to a side-winder or behind if it turns over or will be involved in forward collision on low speed.
Pneumosafety cushions of SRS can be developed in case of serious shock impact on the bottom party of the car. Some examples are shown in drawing.
Main components of system of a pneumosafety cushion of SRS
The device of sensors of pneumopillows consists of sensors of admissible influence and sensors of operation of pneumopillows.
In reply to strong forward blow sensors define delay of speed of movement and put in action delivery pumps of pneumopillows. Then chemical reaction in delivery pumps leads to instant filling of pneumopillows with nontoxical nitric gas to keep passengers from advance.
When filling pneumopillows quite loud noise will be audible and the smoke with nontoxical gas will be allocated. This gas does not mean ignition. It harmless, but at at whom gentle skin, it can cause her insignificant irritation. Do not forget to wash away the remains for prevention even small irritation of skin.
Expansion of pneumopillows occurs in fractions of a second as the airbag is inflated with a significant force. While the system has the purpose reduction of serious damages, it can cause small burns, grazes.
Parts of the block of a pneumopillow (the plug of a steering wheel, an instrument guard) can be some minutes hot, however the pneumopillow not will hot. Pneumopillows are calculated on single filling.
At rather strong collision at which pneumopillows will be filled, the windshield and coupling brackets of the car can break. In cars with a pneumopillow for the passenger the windshield can be also damaged.
The light indicator is not highlighted, when the ignition key turns in the situation "ACC" or "ON" or remains included.
