GENERAL INFORMATION

Two types of keys are applied to the car:

1–the main key (black) which approaches to each lock (this key is required to the dealer of Toyota to make a new key with the built-in scheme of a priyemootvetchik);

2–the additional key (gray) – it does not approach to a box for gloves and to a luggage carrier.

In a head of the basic and an additional key there is a chip of a priyemootvetchik, which is very important for system functioning, therefore be careful not to lose these keys. If will make a key duplicate independently, cannot cancel this system of blocking and start the engine.

As doors can be locked without a key, it is necessary to carry always with itself a spare main key in case suddenly will close keys in the car.

When using the key containing a chip of a priyemootvetchik, observe the following precautionary measures.

 At start of the engine do not allow, that the ring was on the key handle, and do not press on it a ring. Otherwise the engine can not be started or will stop right after start.


At start of the engine do not allow natural contact by other naturals by a priyemootvetchik chip (including with keys of other cars) and do not press the key handle other key.

Otherwise the engine can not be started or will stop right after start. If it occurred, take a key, and then again insert it, having removed from a ring other naturals a priyemootvetchik or having closed them a hand then start the engine.

Do not bend the key handle.

Do not cover the key handle with any material which can disturb free passing of electromagnetic signals.

Do not knock strongly a key in other subjects.

Subject a key to long influence of high temperature, for example, leave it on an instrument guard or a cowl under a direct sunlight.

Do not put a key in water and do not wash out it in ultrasonic installation.

Do not use a key together with electromagnetic materials.

Plate with key number

Number of a key is shown on a plate. Store it in a reliable place, for example, in a wallet, but not in the car. If keys were lost or additional keys were necessary, the dealer of Toyota can make duplicates on the basis of key number. We recommend to write down number of a key and to store in a reliable place.
