1.2.6.4. If the tire is lowered

GENERAL INFORMATION

Gradually reduce speed, keeping the direct direction. Carefully move down after the journey in a safe place far away from movement. Avoid a stop in the center of a dividing strip of the highway. Stop on an equal platform with reliable soil.

Stop the engine and include emergency blinking signals.

Reliably involve the parking brake and establish a transmission in the situation "P" (an automatic transmission) or on a reverse gear (a transmission with manual switching).

All should leave the car in the opposite party from movement.

Attentively read the following instructions:

In a jack usage time surely be careful for reduction of risk of receiving a trauma. Follow instructions for work with a jack.

Do not start and do not scroll the engine when the car is supported only by a jack.

Stop the car on a firm equal surface, reliably involve the parking brake and establish a transmission in the situation "P" (an automatic transmission) or on a reverse gear (a transmission with manual switching). If it is required, enclose a block under a wheel located on a diagonals, opposite from a replaced wheel.

Surely establish a jack properly on a point for a jack. The car raising incorrectly located jack will damage the car or presumes to come off to the car a jack and to become the trauma reason.

Never подлезайте under the car when it is supported by only one jack.

Use a jack only for concept of the car during wheel replacement.

Do not lift the car when somebody is in car salon.

At a raising of the car do not enclose any subjects on or under a jack.

Lift the car only on height, sufficient for removal and tire replacement.

Take demanded tools and the spare tire.

For independent preparation for a critical situation it is necessary to familiarize with use of the jack, each tool and a place of their storage

Turn jack connection by a hand.

For removal – turn connection in the direction 1 until the jack will not be free.

For storage – turn connection in the direction 2 until the jack will not be reliably fixed for prevention of its moving forward during collision or sharp braking.

Removal of the spare tire

Weaken a nut 1 and remove it.

Uncover 2 spare tires.

Weaken a bolt 3 and remove it.

Remove a washer 4.

Then get the spare tire from the car.

At storage of the spare tire establish it into place outer side of a wheel outside. Then fix the tire, repeating the above described points for removal upside-down for prevention of its advance during collision or sharp braking.

Wheel blocking

Enclose the block under the wheel located on a diagonals opposite to the lowered tire, for car deduction from a kacheniye at a raising its jack.

When blocking wheels put a block in front for forward wheels or behind for back wheels.

Removal of a decorative cover of a wheel

Steel wheels

Remove a decorative cover of a wheel.

Aluminum wheels

Remove a decorative cover of a wheel by means of the pointed end of a wrench for nuts of wheels.

Prevention

Do not try to remove a decorative cover a hand.

Weakening of nuts of wheels

Weaken all nuts of a wheel.

Always weaken nuts of wheels before a car raising.

Nuts turn counter-clockwise for their easing. For receiving the maximum lever effort establish a wrench on a nut so that the handle was on the right side, as shown. Grasp the handle near the end pull for the handle up. Be careful, that the wrench did not come off a nut.

Do not remove for the present a nut – only unscrew them approximately on one and a half turn.

Jack arrangement

Have a jack in the correct point for a jack.

Be convinced that the jack is located on an equal and firm platform.

Car raising

Lift the car on height, sufficient for installation of the spare tire. Remember that the bigger gleam with the earth is required at installation of the spare tire, than at removal of the lowered tire.

For a raising of the car insert the jack handle into a jack (free landing) and turn it clockwise. As soon as the jack will touch the car and will start to lift it, check twice that it is located correctly.
