3.2.10. Camshafts and lifts of valves

GENERAL INFORMATION

Sequence of a tightening of bolts of covers of bearings of a shaft of inlet valves (the right head)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the first piston in VMT. Remove covers of heads, a gas-distributing belt and a camshaft asterisk.
2. Check, that sinkhronizatsionny labels on gear wheels of shaft were combined.
3. Stop an auxiliary gear wheel of a shaft of final valves, having twisted a bolt in openings of auxiliary and main gear wheels.
4. Weaken bolts of covers of bearings of a shaft of inlet valves in sequence of return sequence of their tightening (see fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of covers of bearings of a shaft of inlet valves (the right head), fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of covers of bearings of a shaft of inlet valves (the left head). Remove covers of bearings and get a shaft.
5. Weaken bolts of covers of bearings of a shaft of final valves in sequence of return sequence of their tightening (see fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of covers of bearings of a shaft of final valves (the right head), fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of covers of bearings of a shaft of final valves (the left head)). Remove covers and get a shaft.
6. Similarly remove shaft of other head.
7. Combine covers of bearings in the correct sequence.
8. To disassemble a gear wheel of a shaft of final valves, fix a shaft in a vice. By means of a special key weaken pressure upon a boat twisted in gear wheels, and unscrew it.
9. Remove a lock ring of an auxiliary gear wheel.
10. Remove an auxiliary gear wheel (3), a spring (2) and washers (1).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish an auxiliary gear wheel and its elements.
2. Fix a shaft in a vice and again twist a bolt in openings of gear wheels of a shaft. Grease with universal greasing lifts of valves (if you removed them) and establish them in the corresponding nests.
3. Grease with special greasing cams and necks of bearings of a shaft of final valves, and establish a shaft in a head. Labels on a gear wheel should be directed towards a shaft of final valves (in drawing on the right – the right head, at the left – left).
4. Put hermetic on external parts of a being joined surface of a cover of the first bearing (are marked with shading).
5. Establish covers of bearings as numbering. Shooters on covers should be directed towards a gas-distributing belt (in drawing on the right – the right head, at the left – left).
6. Tighten bolts of covers till the demanded moment of an inhaling. Tighten bolts in the specified sequence on the one fourth turn at one time (see fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of covers of bearings of a shaft of final valves (the right head), fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of covers of bearings of a shaft of final valves (the left head)).
7. Establish a new epiploon of a shaft.
8. Grease with special greasing cams and necks of bearings of a shaft of inlet valves.
9. Establish a shaft in a head, having combined labels on gear wheels of shaft.
10. Establish covers of bearings as numbering. Shooters on covers should be directed towards a gas-distributing belt (in drawing on the right – the right head, at the left – left).
11. Tighten bolts of covers till the demanded moment of an inhaling. Tighten bolts in the specified sequence on the one fourth turn at one time (see fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of covers of bearings of a shaft of inlet valves (the right head), fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of covers of bearings of a shaft of inlet valves (the left head)).
12. Unscrew stopping bolt from gear wheels of a shaft of inlet valves.
13. Establish asterisks of shaft and a gas-distributing belt.
14. Establish the remained details.
