GENERAL INFORMATION

Periodically check cables on all length, damage, cracking or a burn-out of isolation of cables, and also corrosion are not allowed. Unreliable connection of the battery can cause refusals at engine start-up.

Check a condition of connections of poles with plugs, existence on them of corrosion, cracks and weakening of fastening of wires. Existence of a white being shelled raid testifies to corrosion of a cable and need of replacement.

Disconnect from the battery old cables, track laying of cables on their length and find places of their fastening to a starter and to weight, disconnect cables from the traction relay of a starter and weight.

Remember a route of laying of a cable. A new cable lay in accuracy on a route of the replaced.

If cables are replaced new, getting new cables, grasp with itself old. The cable of a positive pole of red color also has bigger cross-section section. The cable of a negative pole has black coloring.

The cable of a negative pole is connected to weight and the block of cylinders.

Before accession of a cable clear carvings of fastening of cables of the battery on the traction relay of a starter and on a body, remove corrosion traces.
