7.2.19. Retsirkulyatsiya system

GENERAL INFORMATION

The system is intended for decrease in the content of oxides of nitrogen in the fulfilled gases. It is reached by decrease in temperature of burning at the redirection of a part of gases in the combustion chamber. The set of devices of system and a procedure for test for 4-and 6-cylinder engines differs a little.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Start the engine, disconnect from the valve a hose and attach on its place the vacuum pump.
2. At depression creation in the valve operation of the engine should become unstable, and the indication of the vacuum gage should not fluctuate. Otherwise check purity of a soaking-up collector or replace the valve.

The filter of the operating valve

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a valve cap.
2. Remove the operating valve and get filters. The rough surface of the external filter should be turned outside. Blow filters and put into place.

Retsirkulyatsiya system


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a hose from the valve of a retsirkulyatsiya and between the valve and the pneumodistributor establish the vacuum gage.
2. Start the engine and connect conclusions of TE1 and Е1 on the diagnostic socket.
At engine 55 temperature ° With and 2500 rpm of depression should not be.
On the heated-up engine at 2500 rpm there should be a small depression.
3. Connect the union R to a soaking-up collector a hose piece. At 2500 rpm there should be a considerable depression.
4. Check resistance of the pneumodistributor which should be 33–39 Ohm (see fig. An arrangement of checked valves of system of a retsirkulyatsiya on the 4-cylinder engine). Otherwise the pneumodistributor replace.

6-CYLINDER ENGINES

Procedure of check is similar described above for the 4-cylinder engine.

Temperature sensor
PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect the socket (the sensor of temperature of system of a retsirkulyatsiya will screw about an inlet pipe) and check resistance of the sensor at various temperatures (see subsection 7.2.2.).


Item sensor of the valve of a retsirkulyatsiya


PERFORMANCE ORDER
Disconnect the socket and check resistance of the sensor (see subsection 7.2.2.). For check of resistance of the item sensor of the valve of a retsirkulyatsiya connect an ohmmeter to conclusions Е2 and VC.

Disconnect from the valve a hose and a tube (on V6 engines). See fig. at the left. Unscrew bolts (are specified by shooters fig. on the right) and remove the valve.
