7.2.14. Detonation sensor


The sensor of a detonation is intended for detonation registration in cylinders and reduction of a corner of an advancing of ignition. On 4-cylinder engines the sensor will screw in the block of cylinders under a head, on 6-cylinder engines 2 sensors which will screw under a soaking-up collector are provided.


1. The chain between a conclusion of the sensor and its case should not be closed накоротко. Otherwise the sensor replace.


1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. On the cold engine merge 3–4 l of liquid.
3. On 6-cylinder engines remove soaking-up collector (see subsection 3.2.5.).
4. Disconnect the socket and remove the sensor. On 6-cylinder engines the sensor of a detonation is mounted under a soaking-up collector.
5. The new sensor tighten with the moment of 36 N of m (hermetic is put on a carving of the new sensor with the manufacturer).
